Walk around your vehicle

1. 1. Windshield and glass. Windshield replacement.
   Check: Look for chips or cracks in the driver's line of sight, and run the wipers to see that they clear the glass.
2. 2. Dash and vents. A/C recharges.
   Check: Turn the A/C on and see that the air blows cold. Note any warning lights on the dash.
3. 3. Lights and the whole vehicle. Motor vehicle and commercial vehicle inspections at a licensed station.
   Check: Have someone watch while you run the headlights, brake lights and turn signals.
4. 4. Front end and steering. Wheel alignments.
   Check: Notice whether the vehicle pulls to one side, or the steering wheel sits off-centre on a straight road.
5. 5. Underbody. Undercoating.
   Check: Look underneath, and along the lower edges of the doors, for rust or flaking paint.
6. 6. Bed and accessories. Vehicle accessories.
   Check: Make a note of any accessory you want fitted or looked at, and mention it when you call.
